The researches in our laboratory aim at achieving the vision 2035, originally raised in 2023. The vision includes three functions concerning AM.

The first is a function that automatically generates design alternatives of mechatronic products, such as pet-robot, tailored to the user’s requests. The products must be a feasible design in physical motion and in fabrication using AM. The second is the process planning function. This system integrates the assembling process of electronic parts, into AM. The third is the fabrication function. Mechatronic products are fabricated with environmentally conscious materials in one-body by using a multi-axis AM machine.

You may say I’m a dreamer. But I’m not the only one.

I'm sure some AM researchers can see that this is achievable.
